Jade Scipioni is an incredibly successful reporter. After graduating from St. John’s University, Scipioni has had many roles in the television industry.

She began her career with an internship in sales at Lifetime Television and later that year became a public relations intern for Hearst Magazines. The following year, Scipioni received an internship at NBC Universal, working on the show Last Call with Carson Daly. After gaining these valuable internship experiences, Jade was able to become the production assistant on Court TV for the next two years. During this time she was the Field Producer for Anna Nicole Smith hearings in both Fort Lauderdale, FL and Nassau, Bahamas and she produced live segments and wrote scripts, and questions for Catherine Crier, an American journalist. During her time at Court TV Scipioni also became the associate producer for the Star Jones show, a talk-show hosted by former prosecutor Star Jones which covered recent stories about pop culture, entertainment, crime and justice. While developing and launching this show, Jade became the field producer for OJ Simpson’s robbery case as well as booking competitive guests to be on the show and producing live segments for Star Jones.

Scipioni’s next career advancement involved her becoming the associate producer and booker for CBS News. There, she booked competitive guests for the show and conducted pre-interviews with them. She also traveled to cover major breaking news stories including the Drew Peterson murder case, the Jaycee Dugard kidnapping story, the Governor Sanford scandal, the miracle on the Hudson plane landing, and the effects of hurricane Gustav. She also co-produced taped packages, supervised crews and conducted interviews in the field. She created and compiled anchor packets including research, questions and visual elements for live interviews.

For the next three years, Scipioni became the producer at CNN. There, she relaunched HLN’s crime network, In Session. She became the lead content producer for all field packages during the Casey Anthony trial which lead to record ratings for HLN of 5.2 million viewers. She produced a two hour Michael Jackson special to promote the Conrad Murray live trial coverage. Along with this, she managed the budgets for field shoots and specials and was the line producer for a two hour crime news show.

Scipioni’s was next hired as the producer for Bloomberg LP. During her two years at this company, she relaunched and reformatted Bloomberg’s two-hour international business new show, Countdown. She organized a strong and compelling audience driven rundown and executed the vision of the newscast every day. She coordinated with bureaus and reporters from Bloomberg’s global offices to find top stories. Here, Jade trained other producers and back up line producers and she wrote show openers and edited scripts.

Jade’s most recent position is a huge advancement from her previous ones. She is now a health and business digital news reporter for Fox Business. She is both an on camera and print reporter. She executes interviews with high profile CEOs, celebrities, and politicians including Martha Stewart, Drew Barrymore, Steve Harvey, Dr. Oz, Marco Rubio, Hershey’s CEO John Bilbrey, and Piers Morgan. Over the last three years, she has been responsible for securing exclusive content throughout the 2016 election cycle including interviews and Facebook live hits at the 2016 Democratic and Republican conventions. She writes breaking news reports and develops video packages with great efficiency. Jade is the 2015 winner of the Genesis Award recognizing a series of reports raising awareness of chicken abuse and other animal protection issues.
