Amy Sorrells is a communications and marketing professional with more than 20 years of marketing-communications, content creation, public relations and media relations experience spanning numerous industries including technology, media, healthcare and sports. She currently leads global communications for Oracle for Startups, Oracle’s entrepreneur and innovator program, overseeing strategic communications, content creation, thought leadership, analyst relations and public relations.
She joined Oracle in May of 2012, working first on the Oracle Social Cloud team. Prior to Oracle, she was a long-time communications consultant, working with numerous media and technology clients. Sorrells also worked as a communications professional for Fox Networks, CNN and Turner Sports.
Amy received her degree from Auburn University. She resides in Atlanta with her husband and two boys.
