Dan Carroll and fellow co-founder Andy Rachleff launched Wealthfront in 2011 after realizing they both shared a mission — to democratize access to sophisticated financial advice — and agreed that software was the best medium to unlock great investing for everyone. Today, the space that Dan pioneered is known as the ‘robo-advisor’ industry. Dan’s mission has encouraged many people in their 30s and 40s to start planning for their future financial freedom, many for the first time. He has drawn upon his own life experiences to build customer-centric products that guide financial goals including retirement, saving for a child’s college education or buying a home. And he is not done yet. Dan’s vision is to turn the dirty aspects of Wall Street on its head and build a digital financial services company that truly cares about its clients and their ambitions. Dan has the energy and passion to do just that.
