Peter Boyce

Peter Boyce II is an investor at General Catalyst, a venture capital firm with offices in Boston, New York, Palo Alto, and San Francisco, and approximately $5.0 billion in total capital raised.

Peter co-leads the firm’s seed program. He co-founded and oversees Rough Draft Ventures (RDV), through which General Catalyst has invested in upwards of 100 student-founded startups, expanding access to capital and mentorship for student entrepreneurs across the country.

Peter joined General Catalyst in 2013 as one of the first two investment professionals based in the firm’s NYC office. He is focused on early-stage investments and works closely with portfolio companies including Cadre, Major League Hacking, Mark43, Outdoor Voices, Ro, and Rebag. Other investments he has supported include Circle, Freebird, Giphy, Jet.com (acquired by Walmart), and Workflow (acquired by Apple).
