Trei Brundrett

Trei Brundrett is the Chief Operating Officer at Vox Media, the leading independent modern media company known for building the best media brands and the platforms that enable them. He oversees the highest priority cross-company initiatives and heads the Design, Technology and Product group. Trei also leads Chorus, Vox Media’s modern publishing, audience, and revenue SaaS platform, the only all-in-one solution used by newsrooms, digital publishers and entertainment companies.

Over the past decade, Trei has been instrumental in growing Vox Media from a collection of sports blogs to an innovative modern media organization with leading networks that include SB Nation, The Verge, Polygon, Eater, Curbed and Vox.

Previously, as the co-founder of the boutique digital strategy firm Handwire, Trei led large scale internet strategy, advertising and development projects for Fortune 500 companies, national non-profits and media clients. In addition to building the first web presence for Texas Monthly and helping to launch several early internet startups, Trei also led the digital technology and strategy efforts for Senator Mark Warner’s 2008 presidential bid.

He sits on the board of directors for The Texas Tribune, is an advisor to Open News, is a member of the board of visitors for the McDonald Observatory and studied Astronomy and History at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
